Description
We are looking for a skilled Junior Sous Chef / Sous Chef to assist in leading a Western kitchen with focus on Italian cuisine. You will work closely with the Head Chef in menu creation, food preparation, and quality control while ensuring high standards of hygiene and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities and Duties
* Assist Head Chef with creation and preparation of Italian and Western dishes * Ensure food handling, hygiene, and NEA regulations are strictly followed * Monitor quality, quantity, and accuracy of dishes according to standard recipes * Check, receive, and store ingredients in proper condition * Oversee food and menu planning, event menus, costing, and quality control * Maintain high standards of food quality and timely service * Organize kitchen operations and support in training junior staff * Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Head Chef
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 4–5 years of relevant culinary experience * Experience in Italian cuisine preparation preferred * Completed Basic Food Hygiene course * Strong initiative, adaptability, and teamwork skills * Ability to maintain high sanitation and hygiene standards * Willing to work weekends and public holidays
