Description
This key role will be responsible for driving business growth and ensuring customer satisfaction within the Service & Business Development department. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Oversee all aspects of service support operations, including quote preparation, order processing, procurement coordination, logistics management, and payment processing. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service, addressing technical inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. * Lead and coordinate technical discussions, troubleshooting, and Service Turnaround Agreements (STAs) with clients and vendors. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all technical information, maintenance history, and spare parts inventory for each client. * Work closely with the project team to develop and execute projects, ensuring seamless integration of technical and commercial aspects. * Oversee and manage all commercial activities within the Service Support Group, ensuring smooth business transactions for spare parts supply and service provision. * Communicate and build strong relationships with client contacts, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders. * Liaise with vendors and suppliers to discuss requirements, review prices, negotiate terms and conditions, and ensure timely delivery. * Collaborate with MHI Japan and other group companies to discuss requirements, review prices, negotiate terms, and explore new business opportunities. * Drive business growth by developing and implementing effective business promotion strategies, including preparing promotional programs and materials, and conducting client visits. * Participate in business development activities, including organizing sales calls, developing service menus, and conducting client follow-up. * Collaborate with MHI-GX solutions to explore new business opportunities, develop new service menus, and obtain necessary approvals. * Handle all commercial aspects of after-sales and projects, including invoicing, contract negotiation, and addressing issues related to taxation, insurance, and legal terms and conditions. * Assist in preparing monthly reports to MHI-Japan and MHIAP management on the performance of the Technical Service Business Unit. * Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs on various technical aspects.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum 10-15 years of experience in chemical plant maintenance. * Minimum 5 years of experience in design related to rotary equipment. * Strong understanding of maintenance activities for rotary equipment, including inventory management, shutdown planning, and troubleshooting. * In-depth knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), shutdown planning, and troubleshooting tools. * Good understanding of chemical plants and their construction. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and colleagues. * Experience working with multinational companies. * Pleasant personality, strong work ethic, and a willingness to travel internationally.
