Responsibilities and Duties

* Support the lead kitchen professional in the daily management of kitchen activities, ensuring efficient workflow. * Uphold exceptional standards for food quality, ensuring consistent taste and visual appeal in all dishes. * Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring compliance with local standards. * Prepare and cook a range of Bangladeshi dishes, including curries, rice dishes, roasted items, vegetable preparations, and traditional sweets. * Utilize authentic spices and cooking techniques to preserve the genuine flavors of Bangladeshi cuisine. * Collaborate in menu planning, contributing to the development of new Bangladeshi dishes and seasonal offerings. * Work with management to create cost-effective menus without compromising quality. * Educate and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they understand proper food preparation methods and restaurant expectations. * Coordinate kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service during busy periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen environment with a focus on Bangladeshi cuisine. * Deep familiarity with traditional Bangladeshi cooking methods, flavors, and ingredients. * Ability to undergo an in-person interview and a practical cooking evaluation. * A true passion for the art of Bangladeshi cooking.
