Responsibilities and Duties

*Safety First: Regularly inspect construction sites to spot and remove potential safety hazards, making sure everyone stays safe. *Team Guidance: Supervise and direct both our construction team and any subcontractors, making sure tasks are clear and done right. *Safety Education: Teach site workers about construction safety rules and what to do if there's an accident. *Rule Enforcement: Make sure everyone follows site safety rules to cut down on accidents and injuries. *Incident Management: Handle any site accidents by following established procedures. *Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of all construction employee attendance. *Performance Review: Evaluate how construction employees are performing and take disciplinary action when necessary. *Blueprint Analysis: Review blueprints to ensure construction projects meet design, safety, and budget requirements. *Efficiency Boost: Suggest ways to change construction operations or procedures to work more efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Completion of a post-secondary construction training program. *A Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction science, civil engineering, or a related field is a plus. *Proven experience as a site supervisor. *Current CPR and first aid certifications. *Strong knowledge of building codes and construction safety rules. *Familiarity with construction tools and equipment. *The ability to interpret blueprints. *Outstanding leadership skills. *Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. *Excellent organizational and communication skills.
