Description
This role primarily focuses on generating new sales opportunities within a designated territory for enterprise software solutions. A secondary focus involves managing existing accounts to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, as well as handling daily account management tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Identify and qualify sales opportunities to achieve established sales targets. * Manage the sales process through forecasting, qualification, account strategy development, and detailed planning. * Collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization and partner companies to maximize win rates. * Develop comprehensive solution proposals that address all aspects of the deal. * Participate in the development, presentation, and articulation of a compelling value proposition. * Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to successfully close sales. * Identify and develop strategic relationships with key influencers in the target market. * Maintain accurate records within the internal CRM system, including sales pipeline information, contact details, and account data. * Collaborate with key partners to identify and qualify new opportunities. * Participate in weekly sales meetings and provide timely reports on sales activities and progress. * Execute industry-specific strategies and acquire new customers within assigned industries. * Adhere to internal processes related to customer screening, deal evaluation, pricing approvals, and project management methodologies. * Provide effective leadership when managing a team or project group.
Qualifications and Requirements
* At least five years of experience in a similar role selling enterprise solutions, implementation services, and support services to clients within a designated territory. * Proactive and practical approach, with the ability to assess customer requirements and select appropriate methods to meet their needs. Proven ability to prioritize tasks, develop systematic action plans for successful project completion, and allocate time and resources effectively. * Strong customer interaction and presentation skills are crucial, along with a customer-centric mindset. * Skilled negotiator, capable of acting as a trusted advisor when addressing customer business needs. * Excellent account planning skills. * Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets, along with experience in selling IT projects and solutions.
