Description
This role is responsible for driving sales growth for a provider of cloud-based office solutions in Southeast Asia. The Sales Manager will lead a team, build channel partnerships, and manage client relationships to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Establish and maintain partnerships with local distributors, resellers, and system integrators. * Strengthen relationships with channel partners to ensure optimal market coverage and performance. * Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team. * Set clear sales goals, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching. * Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product positioning and sales strategies. * Collaborate with the marketing team to adapt campaigns and promotional efforts for specific target markets. * Build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their unique needs to provide tailored solutions. * Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals. * Coordinate with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients. * Provide valuable feedback to R&D teams regarding local market needs and desired product features. * Achieve both individual and team annual sales targets, as outlined by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* At least 5 years of sales experience within the software industry, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. * A proven track record of successful sales management in the office software or a related sector. * In-depth knowledge of the Southeast Asian markets, particularly Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. * Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. * A strong understanding of software sales cycles, licensing models, and SaaS/PaaS solutions. * Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. * The ability to effectively manage and motivate a team to achieve ambitious sales targets. * Analytical skills with the ability to extract actionable insights from data. * Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred for effective communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners. * Results-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing market conditions. * Strong cross-cultural understanding and the ability to thrive in diverse work environments.
