Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled culinary professional to support our kitchen team. This role involves assisting with daily operations, upholding high standards of food preparation and presentation, and contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a passion for culinary excellence and a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Support the chef in all kitchen activities, including cooking and plating dishes. * Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies. * Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, adhering to all hygiene protocols. * Collaborate closely with the head chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations. * Perform other tasks as assigned by the head chef.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a kitchen setting. * Strong team-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset. * Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including cooking techniques, food presentation, and inventory control. * Ability to consistently adhere to cleanliness and hygiene standards. * Availability to work split shifts and a 6-day work week with one fixed day off. * Flexibility to handle additional tasks as directed by the head chef. * Effective communication skills and the ability to work closely with the head chef to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.
