Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to take on the role of Manager for our establishment. This pivotal position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations, from ensuring a smooth opening to a successful closing. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing staff, maintaining exceptional standards of food preparation and hygiene, providing outstanding customer service, and handling financial transactions with accuracy. This role also involves ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing strategies to attract customers, and effectively resolving any operational challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the opening and closing procedures, ensuring the establishment is fully prepared for daily operations. * Monitor inventory levels and manage the ordering of supplies to ensure adequate stock. * Supervise the preparation and presentation of offerings (for food-focused establishments) to guarantee consistent quality. * Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the premises, ensuring adherence to all hygiene standards. * Recruit, train, and supervise team members to uphold operational standards. * Assign tasks and create work schedules to ensure sufficient staffing levels. * Observe staff performance and provide constructive feedback or implement necessary corrective actions. * Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to foster satisfaction. * Ensure that all customers have a positive and enjoyable experience. * Manage customer wait times and resolve any service-related issues effectively. * Handle daily cash flow, maintain accurate sales records, and prepare end-of-day financial reports. * Monitor sales performance against targets and develop strategies to drive revenue growth. * Ensure the accurate processing of all financial transactions, including cash and electronic payments. * Ensure adherence to all local health, safety, and licensing regulations. * Conduct regular checks to identify and prevent potential safety hazards or hygiene concerns. * Maintain records of inspections and certifications as required. * Implement marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers (e.g., special offers, promotions, or events). * Maintain the visual appeal of the establishment and its signage to reinforce branding. * Interact with customers to promote new offerings or services. * Address operational challenges such as equipment malfunctions or staff shortages. * Manage emergency situations with efficiency and composure. * Identify and implement improvements to operational processes for enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a management role within the food and beverage industry. * Strong leadership and team management abilities. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills. * A thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. * Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and handle complaints effectively. * Experience with cash handling and basic financial reporting. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve under pressure. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Proactive and results-oriented approach. * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
