Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas. This role involves maintaining orderliness, monitoring daily operations, and recommending improvements to policies and procedures to enhance housekeeping standards and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee and manage housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and organized operations. * Assign tasks and supervise staff performance to maintain high standards of cleanliness. * Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel spaces. * Conduct routine inspections to verify compliance with cleanliness standards. * Address operational issues and provide constructive feedback to the team. * Recommend procedures and policies to enhance housekeeping standards and streamline operations. * Contribute to creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Possess a GCE 'O' Level or SPM qualification as a minimum educational requirement. * Previous experience in hotels or serviced residences is preferred, offering a distinct advantage. * At least 2 years of proven supervisory experience in housekeeping operations. * Demonstrated ability to manage teams and oversee daily housekeeping activities effectively. * Familiarity with the standards and expectations of hospitality environments.
