HEAD CHEF

Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate culinary professional to lead and support our kitchen team in creating authentic Chinese dishes. This full-time role, based in the Telok Blangah Central area, requires an individual with strong leadership abilities to manage kitchen workflow and maintain our established high standards of food quality. You will be a key figure in ensuring our diners enjoy exceptional and consistent culinary experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Support and guide the kitchen team and other kitchen personnel in the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of Chinese dishes. * Ensure that all kitchen equipment and work areas are consistently clean, well-organized, and properly maintained. * Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene protocols at all times. * Manage inventory and restock ingredients and supplies as needed. * Provide excellent and attentive service to our dining customers. * Demonstrate strong leadership in managing kitchen workflow and processes effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Extensive experience working within a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a fast-paced, high-volume setting. * A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant culinary experience. * Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently while under pressure. * A deep passion for food and a strong desire to expand your knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. * A strong dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
