Description

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic culinary team member to prepare and present our menu items with precision and flair. This role involves setting up workstations, managing ingredients, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, all while contributing to a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare and serve menu selections, adhering to established recipes and quality standards. * Organize and prepare workstations, gathering all necessary ingredients and tools for service. * Create daily mise-en-place, including basic sauces and garnishes, to ensure smooth service. * Monitor and date-stamp food items to maintain freshness and safety. * Keep the station's food storage area organized and well-maintained. * Communicate with the supervising chef regarding inventory needs and new orders. * Follow ingredient handling guidelines to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. * Utilize kitchen equipment and utensils correctly and safely. * Properly open and close workstations, following established checklists. * Maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety throughout all kitchen areas. * Take initiative in personal development and participate in training sessions as required. * Promote and uphold safe work practices and a secure working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Fundamental cooking skills in both Asian and Western cuisines. * Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively in a fast-paced setting with minimal oversight. * Strong customer service and interpersonal communication abilities. * Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. * Capability to handle rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
