Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will be a key player in crafting and delivering exceptional dishes.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare, cook, and beautifully plate high-quality dishes tailored to your designated section. * Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to conceptualize new menu items, refine recipes, and innovate dishes. * Expertly handle the preparation of meat and fish, ensuring top-notch quality and presentation. * Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy kitchen environment. * Support the implementation of stringent food hygiene practices. * Guide, mentor, and train Commis Chefs, fostering their culinary growth. * Carefully monitor portion control and minimize food waste. * Ensure the kitchen adheres to the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven ability to independently manage a kitchen section. * Capable of working effectively with minimal supervision. * Experience in leading and developing Commis Chefs. * Ability to consistently deliver high-quality food across all sections. * Clear and effective verbal communication skills. * Strong team leadership abilities. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Solid understanding of basic math for recipe adjustments and inventory. * A genuine passion for culinary growth and sharing knowledge. * Flexibility and a willingness to embrace new culinary techniques. * A positive, approachable, and collaborative demeanor. * Excellent teamwork skills. * A strong desire for professional advancement.
