Junior Sous Chef

Description

We're searching for a meticulous and proactive individual to ensure our kitchen operates at peak efficiency. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and productive culinary environment, while also playing a key part in the development of our kitchen team.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee and uphold impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and all work areas. * Guarantee consistent preparation of all menu items, adhering to established recipes and quality expectations. * Manage the intake and secure storage of food supplies, verifying inventory accuracy and quality, and addressing any discrepancies. * Instruct and develop junior kitchen staff, promoting best practices and fostering a productive work environment. * Collaborate with leadership to plan effective staffing levels, optimizing resource utilization and managing labor costs. * Onboard and train new staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. * Complete any other tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of two years of relevant culinary experience. * Good physical condition and overall health. * A positive and collaborative attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
