Restaurant Supervisor

Description

This role involves supporting the daily operation of a fine dining restaurant, ensuring high service standards, managing staff, and fostering positive customer experiences. The individual will contribute to the restaurant's profitability and reputation by overseeing various operational and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist with daily restaurant activities, including order taking, cashiering, sales consolidation, reservation management, and food and beverage service, consistently maintaining high standards. * Ensure the restaurant meets or exceeds standards in food quality, safety, and cleanliness. * Provide guidance on guest service standards to drive restaurant growth and profitability. * Interact with customers, cultivating an upscale dining atmosphere. * Build and maintain a loyal customer base, managing all customer service aspects of the restaurant. * Address guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally. * Manage restaurant administrative duties and submit required records and paperwork to the corporate office on time. * Create efficient staff schedules. * Conduct monthly stock checks of all inventories. * Demonstrate expertise in Japanese fine dining and service. * Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the hospitality and fine dining industry. * Knowledge of wine and sake characteristics, as well as food and wine pairing, is advantageous. * A proactive and positive attitude, with a strong passion for work and teamwork. * Demonstrated leadership qualities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
