Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead a fine dining restaurant in Geylang. The role requires strong culinary expertise, menu innovation, and team leadership. You will oversee all kitchen operations, from supplier management and budgeting to staff training and customer satisfaction, ensuring dishes meet the highest quality and presentation standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Design and update seasonal menus based on trends and customer feedback * Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain food safety compliance * Control food costs, monitor inventory, and reduce waste * Hire, train, and mentor sous chefs and kitchen staff * Build and maintain vendor relationships for quality ingredient sourcing * Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation * Conduct regular taste tests and quality checks * Interact with customers when needed to handle requests or feedback * Analyze financial reports and adjust kitchen operations accordingly

Qualifications and Requirements

* Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience * At least 5 years of leadership experience as a Head or Executive Chef * Expertise in advanced culinary techniques and menu development * Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills * Knowledge of budgeting, food safety, and health regulations * Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation * Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
