Sales Manager

Description

This position focuses on overseeing sales and marketing efforts to drive increased wine sales and market share for represented wineries. This includes leveraging substantial experience in wine sales and distribution, deep product knowledge, and strategic marketing skills to promote and sell wines, manage client relationships, and contribute to overall business success.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Promote and sell wines to achieve sales growth and broaden market reach. - Oversee sales objectives, maintain high customer service standards, and manage profitability. - Organize wine shipments for special occasions. - Analyze market dynamics and identify potential business opportunities. - Provide comprehensive post-sales support and cultivate strong business relationships with clients to retain their business, expand product offerings, and generate new sales opportunities. - Manage outstanding invoices to ensure prompt customer payments and communicate regularly with the finance team regarding overdue accounts. - Stay up-to-date on industry developments, participate in product portfolio selection and reviews, and continuously enhance personal wine expertise to become a product specialist. - Operate within established organizational guidelines and procedures, contributing positively to team efforts to achieve overall sales and revenue targets. - Collaborate effectively with various teams and departments to ensure efficient operations. - Actively engage in winery events, vendor meetings and presentations, and strategic planning sessions. - Ability to manage pressure and consistently meet sales goals.
