We are seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join a growing Italian restaurant group. You will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, preparing authentic Italian dishes, and supervising staff to ensure high culinary standards and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient selection * Prepare and cook Italian dishes with consistency in taste and presentation * Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain high standards * Oversee kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring smooth workflow * Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations * Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock control and ordering * Handle customer requests or concerns with professionalism * Support the launch of upcoming restaurant concepts within the group

Qualifications and Requirements

* At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably Italian cuisine * Formal culinary training or relevant certifications is an advantage * Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and food safety practices * Good leadership and communication skills with ability to guide junior staff * Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure * Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays * Completed Basic Food Hygiene course
