Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant and the satisfaction of our guests. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service, quality, and efficiency. Your focus will be on creating a positive and productive environment for both our team and our customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Ensure incoming staff adhere to company policies and procedures. * Train staff to follow established restaurant procedures and maintain operational excellence. * Uphold safety and food quality standards to ensure a healthy and enjoyable dining experience. * Provide exceptional customer service and effectively address any customer concerns or complaints. * Create and manage staff schedules to optimize productivity and ensure adequate coverage. * Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely and correct compensation for staff. * Manage inventory by ordering food, linens, supplies, and equipment while adhering to budget constraints. * Supervise daily shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service. * Verify the accuracy of all end-of-day cash-outs and financial transactions. * Coordinate daily operations between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure seamless service. * Control operational costs and identify and implement strategies to minimize waste. * Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and support their professional development. * Engage with guests to gather feedback on food quality and service levels, and use this information to drive improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a restaurant environment, with some supervisory or management experience preferred. * Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both staff and customers. * Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen procedures, and customer service principles. * Ability to manage schedules, payroll, and inventory effectively. * Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. * A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and food quality. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with composure. * A customer-focused approach with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
