Assistant Restaurant Manager

Description

We're looking for a dynamic and guest-focused individual to lead our floor operations and ensure every dining experience is exceptional. This role requires a proactive leader who can inspire a team, manage daily operations efficiently, and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee daily floor operations to guarantee consistently high-quality guest experiences. * Proactively suggest menu specialties to guests and identify opportunities for upselling. * Collaborate with the service and kitchen teams to drive sales and create a positive work environment. * Manage all ordering, inventory, and supply needs for the outlet, including stock levels and waste reduction. * Inspect tables and glassware for cleanliness and any damages. * Ensure service stations are clean, well-equipped, and functioning properly. * Present bills and process payments accurately and efficiently. * Provide ongoing training and support to outlet staff. * Ensure the service team adheres to all company policies and procedures. * Address customer complaints and feedback professionally and effectively. * Guarantee that all opening, closing, and handover procedures are completed accurately. * Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu and presentation standards for all food and drinks. * Assist cluster managers in optimizing labor utilization. * Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Restaurant In-Charge or Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role. * Prior management or supervisory experience is highly desirable. * Ability to excel in a fast-paced and energetic work environment. * Demonstrated maturity and strong decision-making skills with sound business judgment. * Excellent management and interpersonal skills, with a resourceful approach. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
