A heritage Chinese restaurant is seeking an R&D Chef to lead menu innovation, focusing on traditional herbal soups and seasonal dishes. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252

Responsibilities and Duties

- Lead preparation and cooking of Chinese/Teochew dishes, especially soups and sides - Collaborate on R&D of new dishes, including herbal broths, seasonal specials, and healthier alternatives - Conduct test tastings and adjust recipes based on feedback - Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and consistent food quality - Mentor junior kitchen staff and support daily kitchen operations

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Chef, preferably in Chinese cuisine - Strong knowledge of herbs, broths, and traditional Chinese cooking methods - Passion for food innovation and enhancing customer experience - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Creative, disciplined, and detail-oriented
