SAP Finance Process Lead

This role, reporting to the Head of Global Finance Transformation, involves overseeing the implementation and upkeep of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, its associated processes, and master data as part of the organization's global expansion and digitization initiatives. The role will function as the primary process owner for the financial accounting and controlling (FICO) module during a major system implementation project, collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams. This individual will work closely with regional finance leaders to streamline, standardize, and harmonize processes across various geographic locations. Maintaining the organization's global FICO template blueprint and serving as the primary point of contact for post-implementation change requests and training will be key responsibilities. Proactively driving continuous improvements, system upgrades, and the integration of newly acquired businesses will also be expected.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the organization's ERP system, related processes, and master data, supporting global expansion and digitization efforts. - Act as the primary process owner for the FICO module during a significant system implementation project, collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Partner with regional finance leaders to streamline, standardize, and harmonize processes across different regions. - Maintain the organization's global FICO template blueprint. - Serve as the primary point of contact for post-implementation change requests and training related to the FICO module. - Proactively drive continuous improvements and system upgrades. - Manage the integration of new business units into the ERP system. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful system implementation and ongoing maintenance. - Develop and deliver training programs for end-users on the FICO module. - Document and maintain system processes and procedures related to the FICO module. - Identify and resolve system issues and provide support to end-users.

Qualifications and Requirements

- A degree in Accounting and Finance or a related discipline. - More than six years of experience managing FICO-related projects and leading continuous process improvement initiatives within finance functions. - Experience gained from consulting firms or in-house roles is welcome. - Certification in the relevant system (e.g., S/4HANA) is a significant advantage. - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with senior management and operational stakeholders. - Ability to work effectively in a complex, global environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. - Excellent documentation and training skills. - A proactive and results-oriented approach.
