Senior Accounts Executive

Description

This role manages the full cycle of accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate financial transactions, prompt collections and payments, and adherence to relevant regulations. The individual will work collaboratively with internal teams, maintain detailed financial records, and contribute to efficient accounting practices.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, procurement, and operations to optimize workflows and resolve any challenges. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. * Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures. * Provide support during audits and financial reviews as needed. * Utilize accounting software and tools to effectively manage accounts receivable and payable transactions. * Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in accounts receivable and accounts payable management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Five or more years of demonstrable experience in a full range of accounting/finance functions. * Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. * Competency in accounting software applications. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. * Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly. * Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
