Finance Executive

Description

This role primarily focuses on credit control, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring timely collections and accurate financial record-keeping. The individual will interact with customers regarding billing matters, maintain detailed records of collection activities, and contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Focus on credit control activities, specifically managing accounts receivable and accounts payable (AR/AP). * Follow up on outstanding payments, delayed payments, and other payment irregularities. * Communicate with clients regarding account statements and invoices, issuing appropriate follow-up correspondence as needed. * Ensure prompt and accurate recording of customer payments. * Maintain meticulous records of all collection efforts. * Ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities for the accounts receivable function. * Provide support during annual audits.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Two years of work experience in accounting or finance, ideally within a digital marketing or similar agency setting, though this is not a strict requirement. * Analytical skills and a working knowledge of accounting principles for analyzing financial reports and developing forecasts.
