This role involves assisting with various food preparation tasks, adhering to recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities and Duties

* Help with the preparation of food, which includes tasks like chopping and cooking as needed. * Adhere to recipes and guidelines to consistently prepare and cook dishes to a high level of quality. * Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, ensuring workstations, equipment, and utensils are properly cleaned. * Wash and correctly store all kitchen tools, dishes, and equipment. * Ensure that all ingredients are correctly labeled, stored, and rotated to minimize waste. * Assist with the receipt and organization of incoming stock deliveries. * Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. * Provide support to the broader kitchen team in their daily tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Previous experience working in a kitchen setting. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-speed environment and manage several tasks concurrently. * Keen attention to detail and a strong dedication to cleanliness and hygiene practices. * A collaborative attitude with good communication abilities. * Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
