Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare all menu items to the exacting standards set by the Executive Chef. * Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, health, and safety within the kitchen. * Ensure any equipment malfunctions or potential hazards are promptly reported to the Executive Chef or a senior team member. * Strictly control food waste and report any wastage according to established procedures. * Adhere to proper stock rotation practices, ensuring food products are used before their designated dates. * Ensure strict adherence to all portion control guidelines. * Consistently produce food of the highest quality and presentation, following performance manuals and recipes. * Ensure all work areas, refrigeration units, and storage areas are cleaned and sanitized before the end of each shift. * Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all colleagues. * Assist in developing recipes and costing, in collaboration with the Executive Chef or a senior team member, to help achieve monthly profit targets as needed. * Participate in the monthly physical inventory count of the restaurant, including items such as plates and utensils. * Perform other related duties as assigned.
