Chef (Rotate Night Shift Required)

Description

Responsibilities and Duties

- Overall in charge of kitchen operations - Manage multiple outlets - Handle procurement, selection, inspection, and preparation of ingredients - Cut meats and vegetables according to established specifications - Track kitchen inventory and conduct daily orders - Clean food preparation areas per hygiene standards and company policy - Prepare food according to client specifications - Prepare food before guest arrival - Adjust food items for allergies and dietary needs - Supervise and manage kitchen staff - Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure proper food service temperature - Season food according to recipes and company requirements - Order ingredients and spices as needed - Operate kitchen appliances (blender, oven, grill, etc.) - Portion, arrange, and garnish food based on client preferences - Direct and lead food assembly process - Conduct inspections to ensure food preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation standards

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in western cuisine - Strong background in western cuisine kitchen operations - Knowledge of good hygiene practices - Willingness to work long hours and overtime when required - Good understanding of western spices

Working Condition

Working hours

10 hours per day (11am–2am) with 2-hour break, 4 days off per month, Standby for night shift, Rotational night shift work.
