Sales Engineer

Description

This role focuses on driving sales and customer success within the Industrial IoT and Embedded Systems domain, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft products. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, developing and executing sales strategies, and managing Microsoft product licensing.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Handle customer inquiries professionally and ensure timely responses. * Provide customized product sales quotations and solutions. * Follow up on quotations, coordinate orders, and ensure high customer satisfaction. * Actively engage in pre-sales presentations and develop new business accounts. * Collaborate with marketing teams on product promotions and conduct market research. * Develop in-depth knowledge of Microsoft's IoT and embedded product suite, including licensing models, product features, and support for various versions. * Ensure accurate and effective management of Microsoft licenses for customer projects. * Provide guidance on licensing options and downgrade paths to assist customers in selecting the right licenses. * Collaborate with Microsoft channel partners and distributors to facilitate smooth product and solution delivery. * Assist customers in integrating Microsoft IoT solutions into their projects and provide ongoing support for successful adoption. * Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Microsoft IoT products and develop sales strategies aligned with market needs and customer demands. * Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales approaches and identify new business opportunities in the IoT and embedded markets. * Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for key accounts to drive revenue growth for both the company and Microsoft solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent diploma with relevant experience. * At least 2 years of corporate sales experience in the Industrial PC, Embedded Computing, or related fields.
