Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage customer flow and seating arrangement • Greet customers, take orders, serve food and beverages and clear tables • Respond promptly to customers’ enquiries with a consistently positive and helpful attitude, including answering questions about the menu. • Input orders into a point-of-sale system and collect payment using a credit card machine/ cash register. • Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages according to standard operating procedures. • Ability to make coffee using espresso machines will be an added advantage • Ensure restaurant cleanliness daily by clearing tables, returning dishes to the kitchen, sweeping and mopping floors, washing and sanitizing kitchen utensils, and servicing restrooms. • Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to restaurant policy. • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance by wearing a uniform and adhering to a corporate dress code.
