Description

This role centers on consistently delivering high-quality food and upholding impeccable kitchen standards. You'll be a vital part of the culinary team, contributing to the creation of delicious dishes while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Food Preparation and Quality Assurance: - Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes according to specific recipes and customer requests. - Verify that all prepared food meets established quality standards and presentation guidelines. - Conduct regular quality checks to ensure food freshness, taste, and visual appeal. - Kitchen Operations and Safety: - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all hygiene and sanitation regulations. - Properly handle and store all food items to prevent spoilage and contamination. - Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines when using kitchen equipment and tools. - Handle equipment, appliances, supplies and tools in the correct manner. - Teamwork and Collaboration: - Work effectively with the kitchen team, including assisting with ordering and cleaning duties. - Follow instructions from the Chef and perform any assigned tasks. - Understanding and complying with required hygiene standards. - Customer Service: - Prepare and cook customer food orders in a timely fashion.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Experience and Skills: - Relevant experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Physical and mental fitness to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. - Certifications and Compliance: - Possession of a basic food hygiene certificate. - Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
