Responsibilities and Duties

*Prepare and cook menu items consistently and to high standards *Oversee daily kitchen operations, including managing inventory and reducing food waste *Ensure the kitchen remains clean, organized, and compliant with food safety guidelines *Collaborate closely with the chef and kitchen crew in developing and executing dishes *Support quality control in plating, taste, and portion consistency

Qualifications and Requirements

*At least 3 years of experience in a cooking role, preferably with a background in Chinese cuisine *Holds a valid WSQ Food Safety Level 1 Certificate or Refresher Certificate (training can be provided for successful candidates who don’t yet hold the certificate) *Familiar with proper food handling, kitchen safety practices, and inventory management *Able to stay focused and efficient during busy hours in a fast-paced kitchen *Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
