Description

This key role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial management and reporting activities. The Finance Manager will play a vital role in supporting the executive management team with financial analysis and strategic financial advice to ensure informed business decisions.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Manage the entire accounting process for Singapore operations, including documentation and all related entries. * Ensure the accuracy of the Trial Balance and maintain a regular review and reconciliation process for all relevant ledgers. * Prepare and submit various financial reports, including monthly management reports, quarterly reports for board meetings, and annual reports. * Collaborate on the development and preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and variance reports. * Analyze and review the Group's order book, providing timely financial statements and operational results to management. * Review and approve various financial documents, such as payment vouchers, petty cash claims, and intercompany reconciliations. * Assist in developing and implementing sound financial policies for the company. * Collaborate with the Operations department to ensure effective internal controls are in place. * Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts, and analyze major projects to assess valuation accuracy and identify potential financial risks and opportunities. * Implement strategies to ensure positive cash flow by coordinating collections and collaborating with other departments to establish reasonable vendor terms. * Ensure compliance with all relevant tax, licensing, and statutory obligations, including filing of GST returns and other statutory reports. * Liaise with bankers to manage bank resolutions and financial instruments. * Maintain up-to-date financial and audit schedules and collaborate with auditors and tax agents during financial audits. * Supervise and support the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all accounts. * Complete various surveys for regulatory bodies. * Assist the CFO with board matters, such as preparing reports and conducting due diligence for investment activities. * Oversee the accounting system, troubleshoot any issues, and provide support to the organization. * Provide support to other operational units as needed. * Assist the CFO with additional financial and investment-related tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

**Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA certification preferred. * **Experience:** Over 10 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in managing financial budgets across multiple projects. * **Skills:** * Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting. * Experience in financial audits is a plus. * Expertise in statutory compliance and internal controls. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Accpac). .
