We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Head Chef with a strong background in Chinese culinary arts to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring every dish meets quality standards, and managing staff performance. Responsibilities and Duties

*Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant’s standards *Coordinate with other departments for the upkeep and repair of kitchen equipment * Monitor kitchen workflow to ensure food is prepared and served without delays *Maintain thorough knowledge of the full menu and ensure staff are well-trained on each dish *Conduct pre-operation inspections and readiness checks to maintain kitchen efficiency *Lead daily team briefings and manage overall department performance *Handle employee matters such as resignations, terminations, and disciplinary actions professionally *Enforce kitchen cleanliness and safety practices in accordance with 5S and HACCP standards *Perform other job-related duties as directed by the management

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Chinese cuisine *Prior experience managing a kitchen team and handling operational leadership *Specialized expertise in Chinese dishes and a solid understanding of nutrition-focused cooking techniques *Excellent at managing time, multitasking, and prioritizing under pressure *Strong organizational and team leadership skills
