ERP Manager, Finance & Procurement

Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ERP Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Microsoft Business Central, for the Finance department. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the ERP project, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring seamless integration and efficient system operation. The ERP Manager will also support the Finance team in enhancing workflows and managing day-to-day operational tasks. This position is a 2-year contract with the potential for extension based on project needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Oversee the complete ERP implementation process, including planning, testing, deployment, and post-launch support. - Collaborate with external vendors and implementation partners to ensure deliverables are met on time and with high quality. - Manage data migration, system integration (including InvoiceNow compliance), and configuration of ERP modules such as Financial Management and Reporting. - Track project milestones, identify risks, and manage resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. - Provide daily support for ERP-related tasks, including troubleshooting, user access management, and issue resolution. - Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct sessions to enable the Finance team to use the ERP system efficiently. - Serve as the main liaison with vendors for ongoing support and system maintenance. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of Finance operations through the ERP system. - Work closely with the Finance team to manage workload distribution and resolve bottlenecks. - Provide regular progress updates to the Finance Director, highlighting challenges and critical decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related disciplines. - Certifications in ERP systems, project management (e.g., PMP), or finance (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are advantageous. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP system implementation and management, ideally with Microsoft Business Central or similar platforms like NetSuite or SAP. - Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional ERP projects for mid-sized organizations. - Experience working with Finance teams or within Finance departments is highly preferred. - In-depth understanding of financial processes, reporting, and regulatory compliance. - Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in dynamic and resource-constrained environments. - Proficiency in Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Copilot, and Power Automate. - Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges effectively.
