Responsibilities and Duties

Cooking & Food Prep *Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and plating standards for your assigned station (grill, pastry, sauce, etc.). *Consistently ensure taste, texture, and hygiene meet established quality benchmarks. Station Oversight *Operate and maintain your kitchen section efficiently during prep and service hours. *Make sure dishes are sent out promptly and correctly during busy periods. *Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked at all times. Team Support *Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and effective kitchen flow. *Offer guidance and hands-on help to junior team members when needed. Stock & Waste Management *Monitor stock levels and ensure freshness of ingredients. *Help minimize food wastage and keep costs under control. Food Safety & Hygiene *Adhere to all health and food safety regulations during cooking and storage. *Ensure your station always meets hygiene standards and cleanliness requirements. Menu Input Support in the creation and testing of new menu items or seasonal specials when required.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or catering environment is an added advantage. *Passionate about cooking with a willingness to grow in culinary skills. *Able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced kitchen setting. *Flexible with work hours, including weekends and public holidays. *Strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
