Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supervisor to oversee both financial operations and supply chain activities for our dynamic vegetable supply business. This pivotal role ensures financial accuracy, efficient procurement, and smooth coordination across sales and logistics. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working flexible hours, including public holidays and occasional night shifts, especially when liaising with overseas suppliers. Responsibilities and Duties

Financial Management & Control *Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting *Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory regulations *Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets *Conduct financial analysis to track performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and flag variances *Coordinate audits, address findings, and implement corrective measures where necessary Supply Chain Management *Liaise with overseas suppliers to ensure timely and cost-efficient procurement of fresh vegetables *Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment according to market demand *Work with logistics teams to optimize distribution and minimize lead times and operational costs *Oversee proper handling and storage of vegetables to maintain freshness and quality Sales Management *Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue goals and grow market presence *Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including wet markets, retailers, and restaurants *Analyze sales data and market trends to refine strategies and drive business growth

Qualifications and Requirements

*Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field *Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a supervisory role combining finance and operations *Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and inventory management *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers and sales partners *Ability to work flexible hours, including public holidays and night shifts when necessary *Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent)
