Accounting / Finance Manager

Description

The Accounting/Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, including vendor payments, agent commissions, and refunds. They will manage invoicing, monitor fee collections (e.g., installment fees, hostel fees, rental income), and ensure the timely preparation of management reports for month-end and year-end processes. The role includes ensuring compliance with EduTrust requirements for the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and student refunds. Additionally, the Accounting/Finance Manager will support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned, contributing to the organization's overall financial efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities and Duties

Oversee the issuance and monitoring of payments, including those for vendors, agent commissions, and refunds. Manage invoicing processes and track the collection of various fees, such as installment fees, hostel fees, and rental income. Ensure the timely preparation and availability of management report documents for month-end and year-end processes. Ensure compliance with EduTrust requirements regarding the Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) and student refunds. Provide support for ad-hoc tasks or projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification. Ideally have several years of relevant work experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have demonstrated leadership abilities in a supervisory or managerial role.
