Description
The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include preparing cash flow projections, budgets, and forecasts, conducting variance analysis, and supporting investment evaluations. The role involves process improvements, ensuring compliance with accounting and tax requirements, and coordinating audits. Additionally, the Finance Manager will oversee consolidated financial statements, liaise with JV partners, and collaborate with internal teams for timely reporting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct financial planning and analysis, including detailed variance analysis for monthly and quarterly reports, to guide organizational decision-making. Prepare cash flow projections, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, while evaluating and challenging operational plans and underlying assumptions. Support business teams in assessing investment or divestment opportunities and operational considerations during acquisitions or divestitures, ensuring alignment with accounting and tax requirements. Collaborate with JV partners on financial and operational matters, such as dividend distributions and shareholder loans, as needed. Assist the Platform Finance Business Partner Lead in reviewing and updating Financial Authorization Limits annually. Identify and implement improvements in processes, systems, automation, and digitalization. Contribute to segment consolidation and prepare financial and management reports. Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and other Group reporting requirements. Work with auditors to address group-level audit issues. Coordinate with Accounts and Operations teams on entity-level submissions and other reporting needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's or Diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field. Solid understanding of accounting principles and application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International). Positive attitude, team-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of multitasking under tight deadlines. Strong ability to work independently with excellent communication skills. Proficient in MS Office applications. Familiarity with SAP S4 and BPC is a plus.
