SALES MANAGER

Description

This role focuses on leading and managing sales activities within the wholesale trading sector. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing client relationships, conducting market analysis, leading and mentoring a sales team, negotiating deals, and tracking sales performance.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue goals. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wholesale trading sector. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business. * Determine client needs and provide customized solutions to meet their specific requirements. * Conduct market research to understand current trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. * Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales performance and effectiveness. * Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team to achieve both individual and team objectives. * Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' sales skills and product knowledge. * Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to effectively close deals. * Ensure profitability while maintaining competitive pricing strategies. * Monitor sales performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate regular reports for management. * Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. * Minimum of three years of demonstrable experience in sales management, preferably within the wholesale trading sector. * Strong leadership and team management abilities. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective strategies. * Proficiency in CRM tools and sales tracking software.
