    Description

    As a Kitchen Crew at Gatten Sushi Singapore, you'll prepare the wide range of dishes that complete the Gatten dining experience — from tempura and grilled items to chawanmushi, soups, salads, and desserts. As a founding member of the 1st outlet, you'll help shape the kitchen's standards and workflow from day one.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    -Cooking and preparing tempura, fried items, soups (miso, ara), chawanmushi, side dishes, and desserts -Ingredient preparation (shikomi), inventory management, and ordering -Maintaining kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP compliance -Equipment care and maintenance -Coordinating closely with itamae, service, and Japanese management teams -Mentoring junior staff and contributing to team training -Identifying and proposing operational improvements

    Qualifications and Requirements

    Required: -Passion for cooking and attention to detail -Strong teamwork — coordination with itamae and service is essential -Growth mindset and willingness to grow into a kitchen leadership role Preferred: -F&B kitchen experience (any cuisine; beginners with strong passion welcomed) -Japanese cuisine experience -Food hygiene certification -Leadership or team training experience
