Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing them according to instructions. * Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and equipment, and sanitizing surfaces. * Support the chefs and cooks by assisting with tasks such as moving food items, organizing supplies, and replenishing ingredients. * Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, store food items correctly, and adhere to storage guidelines. * Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and hygiene procedures. * Assist with meal service, setting up dining areas, and perform other related tasks as directed by the chef or manager.

* A proactive and hardworking attitude with a strong willingness to learn and contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen. * Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently in the preparation of ingredients. * A keen eye for cleanliness and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation within the kitchen. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting chefs and cooks with various tasks. * Basic understanding of food storage guidelines and the importance of proper inventory management. * Awareness of and willingness to adhere to health and safety regulations in a food handling environment. * Must be able to work the required shifts, which are either 9 am to 9 pm or 6 pm to 6 am, for 6 days a week. * Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role, such as lifting and moving supplies. * Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
