Seeking a skilled Sous Chef to manage kitchen operations for Chinese and Western cuisine, oversee food quality, and support event catering. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252

Responsibilities and Duties

- Ensure all food meets halal certification standards - Assist in creating, preparing, and executing menus for events, from large banquets to corporate meetings - Supervise food preparation and cooking activities for consistent quality and presentation - Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, recipe development, and innovations - Coordinate with banquet and catering teams to meet event requirements and halal standards - Mentor and train junior chefs and kitchen staff - Maintain kitchen hygiene and compliance with food safety regulations - Monitor kitchen inventory, costs, and sourcing of halal-certified ingredients

Qualifications and Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management, or related field - 4–6 years of kitchen experience, preferably in banquet and large-scale event catering - Strong leadership and team management skills - Excellent cooking and food presentation abilities - Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations - Experience with Chinese and Western cuisines is an advantage
