Description
Support the Head Chef in preparing and executing authentic Chinese meals for a private household, ensuring exceptional quality, hygiene, and personalized dining experiences. EA License Number: 22C1267 EA Personnel: R22110252
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in daily meal preparation, focusing on Chinese cuisines (Cantonese, Teochew, Sichuan, etc.) - Execute lunch and dinner services, including plated and family-style meals - Prepare stocks, sauces, and condiments using traditional methods - Source and select high-quality seasonal ingredients from specialty suppliers - Maintain strict cleanliness and organization of the household kitchen - Plan and prepare dishes for family events, intimate gatherings, and festive occasions - Adapt meals to dietary preferences and health-conscious requirements without compromising taste - Stand in for the Head Chef when required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, including at least 2 years in private household or fine dining - Strong proficiency in Chinese culinary techniques (wok cooking, double boiling, dim sum preparation) - Experience in menu planning and customization to suit family preferences - High standards in hygiene, kitchen organization, and time management - Ability to maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism in a private household - Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and occasional travel
