Kitchen Assistant

Description

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team, contributing to the daily preparation of delicious meals. This role involves assisting senior chefs, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Handle daily food preparation tasks, following directions from senior kitchen staff to meet quality standards. * Execute assigned tasks based on instructions and guidance from supervisors. * Prepare ingredients for the Sous Chef, including washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing. * Thoroughly clean and dry all dishes, utensils, cooking tools, and cutting surfaces. * Organize and store all kitchen items in their designated places. * Pack and prepare take-out orders as needed. * Dispose of trash, replace liners, and clean garbage containers. * Clean kitchen floors by mopping and sweeping as required. * Store ingredients and food items according to established food safety guidelines. * Foster positive and collaborative relationships with fellow kitchen staff. * Take personal ownership of hygiene, safety, and the correct use of kitchen equipment.
