Description
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Finance Partner (Supply Chain) to join our Greater Asia Operations Finance team. This role involves providing financial expertise and insights to support supply chain strategies, improve operational efficiency, and drive cost management. You will collaborate with regional and global teams, influencing business outcomes through financial acumen and strategic planning.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Contribute to the development of supply chain strategies and objectives by offering financial insights, problem-solving, and actionable recommendations. - Analyze costs and highlight performance variances, collaborating with country teams to manage risks and opportunities proactively. - Develop contingency plans and recommend immediate corrective actions to improve cost efficiency and achieve business goals. - Support key business and investment decisions related to supply chain network changes. - Collaborate with regional leadership to drive agile, demand-driven supply chain functions. - Review cost and cash opportunities, providing a holistic perspective on financial impacts. - Lead planning and analysis processes, including strategic reviews, annual budgets, and quarterly financial forecasts, focusing on supply chain expenditures and inventory metrics. - Guide the establishment of annual budget processes for freight, duties, and inventory planning. - Conduct in-depth analysis of cost drivers, contractual models, and price impact factors to support accurate forecasting. - Educate supply chain teams on financial policies, procedures, and initiatives through effective training sessions. - Act as a key finance resource for regional business finance partners to understand the financial implications of major supply chain projects. - Support the FP&A Director (Operations) in aligning timelines and deliverables for Greater Asia strategic projects. - Work closely with shared services and global finance teams to drive end-to-end financial initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Business, Accounting, or CIMA qualification. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or business analysis. - Previous experience in supply chain finance partnering within multinational companies is highly desirable. - Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. - Strong ability to manage multiple projects, paying attention to detail while addressing broader challenges creatively. - Results-oriented with a focus on process simplification and leveraging technology, such as Power BI and SAP BPC. - Proactive and capable of meeting tight deadlines with high integrity. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a continuous improvement mindset. - Proficient in data visualization, analysis, and process improvement tools (e.g., Power BI dashboards). - Solid understanding of financial planning systems and reporting tools.
