SALES MANAGER

Description

This role is responsible for the smooth daily operation of the retail store, encompassing sales, customer service, inventory management, and team leadership. The Store Manager ensures the store meets sales targets, maintains a positive customer experience, and adheres to company policies.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Ensure the efficient operation of the store by managing stock, processing sales transactions, and providing excellent customer service. * Open and close the store according to established schedules. * Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock availability. * Meet sales targets set by management. * Establish sales targets for the team and work collaboratively to achieve them. * Oversee sales activities and ensure team members effectively promote products. * Manage sales campaigns and promotional activities. * Supervise, train, and motivate team members to maximize their performance. * Create and manage work schedules for team members. * Ensure staff compliance with store policies, guidelines, and customer service standards. * Address customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner. * Monitor store financial activities and prepare reports for management review. * Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Prior experience in retail sales and management is usually required. * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Ability to lead and motivate a team. * Good organizational and time-management skills. * Basic math and financial skills for handling transactions and reports. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
