Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to oversee the daily operations of both the front and back of house of our restaurant. This role demands a strong leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient operations, maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene, and fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the day-to-day operations of both the customer-facing and kitchen areas of the restaurant. * Ensure exceptional service delivery and strive to exceed customer expectations. * Address customer feedback and complaints efficiently and effectively. * Regularly assess the quality of our offerings and explore potential new suppliers. * Organize and supervise staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow. * Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance productivity. * Forecast future needs for supplies, kitchen tools, and cleaning materials. * Ensure strict adherence to all sanitation and safety regulations. * Uphold and enhance the restaurant's positive reputation and suggest improvements. * Manage operational expenses and identify strategies to minimize waste. * Generate comprehensive reports on revenue and expenses on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. * Promote our establishment within the local community through positive interactions and events. * Recommend strategies to reach a wider customer base, such as promotions and social media engagement. * Train both new and existing employees on best practices in customer service. * Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure the ongoing success of the restaurant's operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in coordinating restaurant operations, encompassing both front and back of house. * A strong commitment to delivering superior customer service and maximizing guest satisfaction. * Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively. * Ability to assess product quality and research potential vendors. * Strong organizational and supervisory skills to manage staff shifts effectively. * Ability to appraise staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement. * Experience in estimating future needs for supplies and equipment. * Thorough understanding of and commitment to sanitation and safety regulations. * Ability to maintain and enhance the restaurant's image. * Experience in controlling operational costs and identifying waste reduction measures. * Ability to create detailed financial reports. * Experience in promoting a business within the local community. * Understanding of strategies to reach a broader audience. * Proven ability to train employees on customer service best practices. * Experience in implementing and maintaining operational policies and protocols.
