Sales Engineer

Description

Beng Hui Marine Electrical, a subsidiary of BH Global Corporation, is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Marine Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a key role in driving sales through lead generation, customer relationship management, and market research. You will also be involved in proposal preparation, trade show participation, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Contribute to achieving team sales targets through all aspects of the sales process, including lead generation, customer inquiries, order processing, and post-sales support. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by providing prompt and accurate information, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction. * Prepare clear, accurate, and timely sales proposals and quotations for customers. * Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Leverage this knowledge to identify sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies. * Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, industry events, and customer demonstrations to promote the company's products and services. * Perform various administrative tasks, such as maintaining sales records, preparing sales documentation, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings and appointments.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Diploma or relevant certifications in Marine Engineering or a related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering). * Prior experience in the marine industry or a similar industry is preferred. * Possess a strong understanding of the marine industry, including knowledge of similar products, services, market trends, and customer needs. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels. * Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address customer issues and sales challenges effectively. * A team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment. * Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, able to handle multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines. * Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach in all interactions.
