Kitchen Crew (Halal Concept)

Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our kitchen team in a Halal-certified environment. This role involves assisting with the preparation of sauces and seasonings, supporting the head chef in ingredient preparation and cooking, and operating various kitchen equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and contributing to the smooth operation of the food stall/kitchen are also key responsibilities. This position offers a great opportunity for those with or without prior experience who have a genuine passion for the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare sauces and seasonings according to established recipes. * Assist the head chef in the preparation of food ingredients and during the cooking process. * Operate kitchen equipment such as grills and fryers safely and effectively. * Maintain a consistently clean and organized kitchen area. * Assist with any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the kitchen management. * Provide support in managing the overall operation of the food stall or kitchen.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred; however, individuals with no prior experience but a strong interest in the food and beverage sector are encouraged to apply. * Possess good basic culinary skills. * Must be motivated and eager to learn new skills and techniques. * Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment. * Willingness and ability to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
