Description

Responsibilities and Duties
- Cut and prepare meats and vegetables according to established specifications. - Track inventory and conduct daily ordering for kitchen supplies. - Clean and maintain food preparation areas per hygiene regulations and company policy. - Prepare food according to client specifications and dietary needs. - Adjust recipes to accommodate allergies or special dietary restrictions. - Manage and guide other kitchen staff during operations. - Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure proper food service timing and temperature. - Season food according to recipes or company standards. - Order and manage ingredients, spices, and kitchen stock. - Operate kitchen appliances such as blenders, ovens, and grills. - Portion, arrange, and garnish dishes to meet presentation standards. - Assist fellow cooks in assembling and plating meals during service.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in western cuisine preparation. - Solid knowledge of western kitchen operations and ingredients. - Familiarity with hygiene and food safety best practices. - Willingness to work long hours and perform overtime when required. - Strong understanding of western herbs, spices, and flavor profiles.
