Responsibilities and Duties

- Perform daily opening and closing duties as assigned. - Assist the cook in food preparation, including frying, cooking soups, and cutting vegetables and meats according to SOP. - Prepare sauces, marinades, seasonings, and spices following standard recipes. - Carry out kitchen tasks such as deep frying, preparing salads, peeling eggs, and making gyoza. - Store and label food properly to ensure freshness and prevent spoilage. - Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties when required. - Follow all kitchen safety and hygiene protocols, including wearing required safety equipment. - Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chef or kitchen supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role (Japanese cuisine experience is a plus). - Able to work in a fast-paced environment. - Team player with good hygiene and attention to detail.
